Spruce-Pine-Fir, Kiln Dried, No. 2 and Better grade lumber. Often described as a 24 ft, 2 x 10 (nominal sizing), this product typically measures 1-1/2 in THK x 9-1/4 in W.
- Spruce-Pine-Fir is a grouping of wood species that grows in both the northern regions of the U.S. and throughout Canada
- No.2 and better grade lumber is used in all general construction, this grade is designed for the many uses where higher strength properties are not needed and where serviceability is important
- Few defects are permitted and knots of any quality are allowed as long as they are well spaced and do not exceed size regulations
- This grade may also include grades "Better" than No.2
- Kiln dried, moisture content of 19% or less
- The board has been surfaced smooth on all four sides
