Simpson Strong-Tie MSTA36
The MSTA is designed to resist tension loads in wood-to-wood applications. This medium strap-tie utilizes a staggered nail pattern to help minimize wood splitting. The MSTA is designed for use on the edge of 2X members.
- Straps are load-rated with the correct thickness and number of fasteners, in contrast with field-fabricated straps
- Loads have been increased for wind and seismic forces
- Floor-to-floor clear span application
