Pine, Kiln Dried, No. 3 grade lumber. Often described as a Linear Foot, 0.625 x 6 (nominal sizing), this product typically measures 5/8 in thick by 5-1/2 in wide. Appearance notes: Patterns #17 and #19, Tongue & Groove, Reversible Siding.
- Pine is a softwood which grows in most areas of the Northern Hemisphere; Pine is lightweight, straight grained and resists shrinking and swelling
- No. 3 grade lumber is designed for use in construction where higher grade requirements are not needed; all pieces of this grade must be usable full length, therefore No. 3 combines usefulness with economical construction
- Kiln dried – moisture content of 19% or less
- This tongue and groove siding has pattern #17 on one side and #19 on the other; either surface can be exposed
