Pure turpentine is a natural product distilled from pine trees and is the top thinner and cleaner available for oil-base paints, varnishes and oil finishes that are high in color quality, durability and easy maintenance. There are less expensive alternatives, but turpentine achieves superior paint consistency as it blends beautifully with oil-based paints, varnishes and enamels to ensure smooth, even application.
